From the spring peepers that were the soundtrack of spring nights in my childhood, to the midland painted turtles that greets me as I pass mile 2 of my favorite running trail now, to the eastern hellbender I spotted for the first time at while on a hike in the Smoky Mountains, all of these critters add to the diveristy of whildlife that can be found in Ohio.
